Winter stream health is critical, clean, cool, oxygen rich water helps these little guys survive. Help protect their home by keeping streams clear and staying on designated trails this season!

๐ŸŒง๏ธ A strong storm system is impacting Maple Ridge through Wednesday, bringing 70โ€“100+ mm of rain. The BC River Forecast Centre has upgraded the High Streamflow Advisory to a Flood Watch.

โš ๏ธ Residents are urged to stay away from rivers, creeks, and unstable banks, and avoid flooded areas.

Park access restrictions due to rising river levels and fast moving water:
๐Ÿšซ Jerry Sulina Dog Park (South Alouette River) โ€“ CLOSED
โ›” Hot Rocks, Crosses Cabin Park, south end of Maple Ridge Park near water โ€“ restricted access

City crews are actively monitoring conditions and maintaining drainage systems.
