Lifestyles Eco-Camp
At this camp your child with learn all about nature and the relationship between a healthy ecosystem and their personal well-being. On Monday the children will grow sugar and borax crystals, and make their own soaps and candles with materials found outdoors. Nature Photography will follow on Tuesday: participants take pictures and story graph them in a scrapbook (we have a limited number of cameras for those who cannot bring one from home–don’t forget to bring the wires for uploading!) Children will enjoy learning how to create healthy, organic snacks (as snacks and lunches are included on this day, please make sure to list any food allergies while registering) on Wacky Wednesday, and blast off home-made rockets which we will track on Thursday. Friday will feature fabulous fort-making using recycled materials! Lunches and snacks are not included except on Monday.
